I’m so glad I have been able to be with my kids to catch these kinds of moments.
Time for Ny-Ny
This little guy is almost thirteen now. As a stay-at-home mom, these are the moments that make the twenty-four hour job without time off, sick days, or vacations worth it.
Thank goodness for the gigantic bean bag!
Flippin’ boys! Sometimes you just have to let boys be boys.
Monkey see, monkey do!
If big brothers do it, I can do it too. Just watch me!
Karate – Jump Spin Crescent Kick
My oldest has been going to karate classes for over 10 years. Being at home has made it so much easier to make sure he can get to classes, play other sports, be social and get his homework done.
I LOVE being a stay-at-home mom. It’s simple – I was able to take these videos because I can be with them. There have been lots of factors involved with me being able to stay home and devote so much time to my boys. One of those is really budgeting well (which ALL of us SHOULD do) while another is being “thrifty” and even sacrificing outings or vacations to “save” money so that I wouldn’t have to go back to work.
Do you see the trend? I wouldn’t trade being home with my children for anything. However, it would be nice to be able to go out to dinner without worrying about the final bill. It would be nice to plan a vacation to fly our entire family somewhere and still be able to afford to do something – airfare for FIVE is no joke let alone finding someplace to stay where we don’t have to “hide” a child or get two rooms!
So, if you are familiar with any of my previous posts, my boys are my “WHY” and my everything. This includes our yellow lab and my husband. They keep me focused.
