Good morning - I hope you have something to smile about!

I just wanted to see who's having a GREAT weekend?  I'm actually enjoying some quiet time hanging out in bed on my laptop.  The sun is out, my windows are open and the house is QUIET!  With 3 boys, a dog, and my husband . . . these times are few and far between for me.

Hubby and Talon (the 4 yr old) are away at the gym and the 2 older boys plus a friend are downstairs still snoozing.  Wow!  A great start to my day along with the sun and a smile!

So here I sit, putting off a shower and chores to just appreciate my time.  These are the times I can sit back and appreciate everything I am and everything I have in life.  So happy to be me!

Thanks for letting me share my little tidbits.  I hope you find time every day to reflect and appreciate the light and love in your life.

Peace!!!

Smile and share a smile

Have you heard this before?  Just smile!  . . . fake it 'til you make it if you have to.  Share a smile and see the ripple effect.  Take it in and see how it makes you feel when a smile is returned.  You can spread love and light with just a smile.  How easy is that?  Really, you never know who might need that smile.  The joy you feel and share through a smile costs you nothing but really is a gift for yourself and whomever you choose to share it with.

For the last SIX years . . .

For the last six years I have been building a life with my wonderful, funny, smart and handsome husband.  We met on Match.com about 7 1/2 years ago . . . we had an instant connection and a great start.  Somehow I knew he was going to be MINE and I'm happy to say, I was right about this one!

We did hit some really rough times about a year after we got married and I thought for sure we were headed for divorce.  I'm so glad that we fought for each other.  It has been worth the work on ourselves and all the rough patches.  Marriage isn't always easy so making it through the rough times and supporting each other - especially when we don't quite understand what the problem might be, but it is definitely worth it.  So far, out of the 7 1/2 years together, we had about 6 really rough months.  Those months made our connection today even stronger.  They were well worth what we have now and pale in comparison to the happiness we now share.

Chris Tindell, I love you with all my heart and I want the world to know it too!  Thank you for choosing me to share in this journey we call life . . .

(For my audience reading this, I hope you are able to find the happiness and love that you deserve.)

The Present is a Gift

Live in the moment!
What is it that is happening now?  (for me . . . insomnia! LOL)
What do you have to be thankful for?

"The past is behind you.  The future has not yet happened.  Right now is a gift.  That is why it is called the present."

This is one of my favorite sayings.  It's nice to have a reminder now and then.  Remember to mindful of what is happening at the present moment and how much beauty there is in life and the world around you.  You choose how to see life as it happens.  I hope you see love and inspiration.

Hugs and love,

Nicole
