3 Funny Quotes About Being A Mom

February 2, 2015

Are you a stay-at-home mom? Or would you like to be? Or maybe you know someone that can use some humor because they are a stay-at-home mom. Really, stay-at-home mom or not, you need to have humor to raise your kids.  So please share because I am a stay-at-home mom and I KNOW I can use humor about this FULL-TIME job!
  1. Don’t yell at your kids! Lean in real close and whisper, it’s much scarier.
    Unknown
This is pretty funny. I never thought about it this way, but I do this all the time. The kids KNOW without a doubt that I am serious . . .
What about you? Do you ever do this?
  2. Yes, I am still in my pajamas. What did I accomplish today? The kids are still alive. Say thank you. Now say I’m pretty.
    SomeeCards
There are days I feel like this. How about you? Luckily, my husband is very understanding and supportive. Although I think it did take me breaking down and me vomiting all over him how tired I was one day while we were on vacation. Ever since he has been great! He honestly just never thought about it until I told him how I felt. (Being on vacation was supposed to be fun. What he didn’t understand was that it wasn’t necessarily vacation for me since it was what I do everyday . . . only difference being that I didn’t have everything I did at home to take care of the kids).
Keepin’ it real here! Does your significant other sympathize and support you? Do they get it???
  3. The quickest way for a mother to get her children’s attention is to sit down and get comfortable.
    Unknown
Right??? Is this one true or what??? That or try to make a phone call. Basically, they can be quietly doing something by themselves . . . UNTIL you decide you have a moment to get something done. Then that is when they will need your attention!
Though we love our kids dearly, we have to keep a sense of humor to raise them . . . or they wouldn’t survive!
So after having all of their bodily fluids on you at some point, having your words embarrassingly repeated at the most inopportune times, stepping on or tripping over countless toys they probably don’t really even play with and numerous other challenges, if you don’t see the humor in these situations then you will definitely lose your sanity!
For me, it’s a close call anyway! Once you think you’ve seen it all, they come up with something new! Not to mention that as they get older, each stage is new altogether for everyone!
Just breathe . . . just smile . . . and just laugh!
Good luck my friends!

Can You Get Over Procrastination Before It Kills You?

February 5, 2015
Do you fall ‘victim’ to procrastination? Most of us do. We have self-defeating thoughts that keep us from doing what we want or should do. We limit ourselves by fear.
You can place blame on anything but it really is YOUR decision. If you want something bad enough, you take action no questions, no hesitations, no second thought. Right? So do your excuses hold water?
If you are procrastinating, here are some important questions to ask yourself:
– Why are you procrastinating? (I know, DUH! but most of us know the exact answer to this question!)
– What is your obstacle?
– Have you created this obstacle? Is it real?
– What is it you are afraid of?
– What is the worse that can happen?
– Is the worst case scenario a deal breaker?
– Then why are you still thinking about it?
Procrastination can make you feel overwhelmed and helpless. When we procrastinate, we experience negative emotions that are self-defeating. Don’t beat yourself up. Just take one step forward- start with one small task.
TAKE ACTION because “Sometimes later becomes never.”
To start working on taking action as opposed to procrastination, start with your thoughts. Find the positives and be optimistic. If your approach is that this is “hard” then it will be. So it may be a “challenge” but find empowering words to tell yourself and remind yourself how you will feel when you have accomplished completion!
Stay the course.  It’s easy to get distracted. Especially if it’s something you really don’t want to do. So make up your mind to finish this project before you move on to another.
I still find myself procrastinating at times, so I ask myself the questions I shared with you and I find my answers. I take at least one little baby step in the direction to completing whatever it is that I am holding back from. I keep in mind that I am growing and taking action.
I know am successful because I have changed my thought processes. I look deeper into my true self and I face my fears. I am open to growing so that I can help myself and others.
So my friends, here is my suggestion to you . . .
Get to know yourself. Raise your standards. Expect more from yourself. Believe in yourself.

What’s Your Excuse For NOT Reading This Post?

February 12, 2015

How many excuses do you make in a day? Really . . . think about it! I know that I make way too many. How about you? Are you ready to take responsibility for your actions or lack of action – for your thought processes?
We make excuses so we feel better about doing something or not doing it. Right? Simple as that.  However, this can lead us into becoming chronic liars.  Do you see any good coming of that?
What is an excuse?
In the dictionary as a noun (which is what this post is about) the definition is as follows:
1. a reason or explanation put forward to defend or justify a fault or offense.
synonyms: justification, defense, reason, explanation, mitigating circumstances, mitigation, vindication
Excuses do not empower us. Realize that to be true to yourself, you have to let go of them.
Some are relevant and true but most are not. Be aware of your thoughts and make some changes. Take responsibility.
Excuses are often made when we fear or doubt something.  If you think about it, we obviously make time for what we feel is important to us.  We will do anything to make something happen if we are passionate about it.  However, if we are unsure or fearful (or feeling other negative emotions) we can easily make up an excuse to avoid or postpone a decision to take action.
A significant reason for making up an excuse is to avoid failure.  If we never make the attempt, then we can’t fail.  Right?  Well think about that again.  How does REGRET feel?  Regret is another word for failure.
Is a life lived without risk really a life lived.  Is it?  That’s another question to ask yourself.
So dig deep and have a conversation with yourself to find out the true meaning behind your excuses.  Like it or not, you will get to know yourself better.  Ask yourself these questions and make some, possibly, hard decisions.
Stop making up excuses and start finding solutions.  Be aware of your thoughts, honor your feelings and then make a decision!
Now that I am aware of my language (both in my head and verbal), I can take the steps to becoming my true self and live a better life.  I hope you can do the same.

Personal Development – Are You Ready For A Change?

February 20, 2015

So you’ve decided to make a change? Change begins with you. So, naturally, self-development is a great place to start and it is an on-going process throughout your life.
There are great resources available to you in the form of books, quotes and social groups where you can surround yourself with positive, inspiring people on a daily basis.
If you don’t like to read or don’t have the time, I have a solution for you. However, I must add that, in most cases, you will MAKE time for what is important to you. There are some instances where time may be a real issue but if you are passionate enough, you will find a way to make it happen.
First, as in the quote in the picture above, “You must make a choice to take a chance or your life will never change.”
Self-development means that you must take a look at YOURSELF and your ways, thoughts, actions and reactions.  Here are some suggestions to get started:
  1. Listen to Self-Development Audio Books

If you feel you don’t have time to read, you can always find plenty of books on tape and audio files. I, myself, am a stay-at-home mom and can make time to read most of the time but my husband likes to listen to audio downloads when he walks and when he drives.
When I choose to listen to audios, I do so while doing yard work or even while getting ready in the mornings.
There are plenty of resources online where you can download audible books (Amazon, iTunes and even YouTube or just Google “audio books”). Your local library may also have resources online. Ours has select titles online where you can download them for free.
  2. Read Inspiring Quotes Often

To keep a healthy mindset, you can keep inspiring or motivational quotes around where you will see them often and remind you of the change you are seeking. You can print them out and put them around your house, in your car or wherever you spend a lot of time or need the inspiration the most.
I find that picture quotes resonate best with me. I even go as far as to create my own picture quotes. They mean even more to me when I see my pictures behind the quote. If you’re interested, I wrote a blog post with some resources for creating your own.
Again, you can Google whatever types of quotes you are interested in (i.e., inspirational, motivational, success, etc.) and click on images. Just browsing these picture quotes can quickly alter your mindset.
  3. Surround Yourself With Like-Minded People

Create a community for yourself or join one where you can be around like-minded people. Find people that are already showing they have changed their lives the way you would like yours to be; people that share your outlook and will support your decisions; people that will encourage, inspire and believe in you.  LIMIT time with people that have the opposite effect on you.
If you are on social media like Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, you can find many “friends” or groups such as this.
If you are on Facebook, you can find our page about Finding Synchronicity at

ABC List – Words of Praise

March 2, 2015

Do you like to make others feel better by using phrases of praise, approval, applause and cheers?  I sure do but sometimes I feel like I get stuck using the same words over and over.  My most used acclamation – “Awesome!”
Having worked in a martial arts dojo, we are ALWAYS praising the kids for anything we catch them doing right.  However, they are pretty smart and catch on when you use the same word over and over.  We want to make them feel special, but if we use the same word all the time . . . it is no longer special and they stop feeling special.  It just becomes a word.
So, I decided to make a list of “other” options and thought you might have a use for them too.
Here we go!
A – Awesome! All right! Amazing!
B – Bravo! Breathtaking! Beautiful!  Better than ever! Brilliant!
C – Cool! Congratulations!
D – Dynamite! Doing great!
E – Excellent! Extraordinary!
F – Far out! First rate! Fabulous! Fantastic!
G – GREAT (job)! Good going! Got it!
H – Hooray! How perfect, great, awesome! Hot dog! Hero!
I – Incredible! Inspiring! I knew you could do it!
J – Jedi! Just perfect, amazing, marvelous! Joyful!
K – Kudos! Keep up the great work!
L – Love it!
M – Money!  Marvelous!
N – Nice (going)!
O – Outstanding! Out of sight!
P – Perfect! Phenomenal!
Q – Quite beautiful, remarkable, amazing!
R – Right on! Remarkable! Radical!
S – Super! Stupendous!  Sensational! Sweet! Stunning!
T – Thumbs up! Talented! Totally Cool!
U – Unstoppable! Unbelievable!
V – Very cool, awesome, amazing!
W – Way to go! Wow! Wonderful! Woohoo!  Well done!
X – Xcellent (haha, let me know if you have suggestions for this one!)
Y – You’re the best, #1, a winner!
Z – Zen!  Zippadeedoodah!

So what do you think?  I hope you can use these to brighten somebody’s day!  And, PLEASE, let me know if you have something to add.  I’d love to hear your suggestions!

What Do You See?

March 3, 2015

Do you see what others don’t?
Do you make conscious choices on how to view the world around you?
Do you listen to your intuition?
Do you dream and visualize?

There are several ways to “see”.  We use our emotions and feelings, our eyesight, our logic, our intuition . . . can you think of any others?
What is important is knowing that there is a choice about everything you see.  It’s about perception, understanding, being open to messages and even change – usually one of the hardest things for people to embrace.
If you make a decision, an intention, to see positivity and beauty in life then your journey will be much more rewarding and fulfilling.  On the other hand, if you “react” without making this conscious decision, you may have negative feelings and think that life is hard or unfair.
So take a look – a real look at your surroundings.  Do you notice them or are you just living, letting life pass you by?
Do you judge people and let your ego take control?  Or do you let people be who they are and appreciate them?  Each person is unique due to their individual experiences and past so their perceptions may differ from yours – and that’s OK!
Do you notice coincidences (we like to call them synchronicities)? Do you see them as messages or do you write them off?  We see them as messages from the universe that you are on the right path.
Do you listen to your “gut” when something feels right or wrong?  That is your intuition trying to help you – you should let it.
Do you still dream and believe in them?  Do you remember how easy it was to dream as a child?  As we get older, society restrains us and teaches us how we “should” live.  However, dreaming and belief is always important.  Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
So this post is all about you.  It is about how you decide to view the world, your surroundings and how you choose to respond to outside influences (rather than react).
Let me ask you . . .
Have you set your intentions?
Do you know who are are?
Do you know who you want to be?
What do you see?
I hope we have opened your eyes to see there is more to life that you may be missing.  Pay attention and notice the beauty, kindness and synchronicities in the world.  Choose to bring more of that into your life every day.  Choose to SEE what others may not because it’s an amazing feeling and it can hold you in wonder.
Thank you for reading and we wish you every happiness you choose to find and SEE!

What Is Synchronicity?

March 4, 2015

Synchronicity defined in the dictionary:
syn·chro·nic·i·ty
ˌsiNGkrəˈnisədē/
noun
  1. the simultaneous occurrence of events that appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection.
    “such synchronicity is quite staggering”
If you look synchronicity up in Wikipedia you will find:
“Synchronicity is the occurrence of two or more events that appear to be meaningfully related but not causally related. Synchronicity holds that such events are “meaningful coincidences”. The concept of synchronicity was first defined by Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist, in the 1920s.
. . . Synchronicity implies that, just as events may be connected by causality, they may also be connected by meaning. Events connected by meaning need not have an explanation in terms of causality; this contradicts the Axiom of Causality in specific cases but does not contradict causality generally.”

Here is a great video of Deepak Chopra answering the question, “What is Synchronicity?”

According to Crystal Links:
“Synchronicities are people, places or events that your soul attracts into your life to help you evolve to higher consciousness or to place emphasis on something going on in your life. The more ‘consciously aware’ you become of how your soul manifests, the higher your frequency becomes and the faster you manifest positively. Each day your life encounters meaningful coincidences, synchronicities, that you have attracted, on other words created in the grid of your experiences in the physical. Souls create synchronicities, played out in the physical. It is why you are here. It is how our reality works.”

We believe that synchronicities or “coincidences” have true meaning as we are being guided and validated by the universe.  When you are open to seeing them, you will know you are on the right path and that your thoughts are in synchronization with your reality.  However, you must pay attention because not all synchronicities are positive.  The universe may be sending you signs that your thoughts are not in alignment with what you really desire.
So we suggest that you  be open to receiving these messages and recognize the synchronicities that happen every day – see how they may apply to you and your thoughts.  Let them guide you.
We use the laws of attraction and trust in the universe to achieve our dreams as we are Finding Synchronicity. Our intention is to inspire you to do the same and because we believe that synchronicity sent you here, we would love to stay in contact.

Being “CONTENT” Is No Longer Content

January 12, 2015

I realize today that I’ve lived a life of striving to be “content”….. Content with my income. Content with the stuff I have. Content with my lifestyle. Content with my free time.
I justify it using things like, “Well, at least I’m not as bad off as that guy getting arrested on COPS!” (remember that show?) or “Well, at least I get to go on vacation once or twice a year” or “Well, at least I have memories of experiences that I had a long time ago, when I had more free time; when I wasn’t locked into an 8 hour a day job”… Things like that….. Do you get what I’m saying? Have you said these things to yourself as well?
Here’s the problem…. I’ve also had “tastes” of something else…. Freedom!
For example, as a realtor, I worked hard…. (some times…..( just being real, here) )
Not having a boss and being my own boss let me experience what it’s like to “own my day”. I could choose to work, choose to play, choose to relax, choose to play video games, choose to …… well, just about anything I wanted.
It’s nice to have choices…… I’m “grateful” for everything I have now….. my family, my friends, my income….. but I am no longer content with just being content about everything.
I am getting my freedom back. Whatever it takes! I have a plan and there’s room on this boat for anyone……. I’m talking about the kind of freedom that comes from a plan…. A plan that let’s you condense real work…..the work that makes you money……into a much smaller package. My plan involves working less and making more……
What’s your plan? My plan works, as long as you work it….
Peace and love,
Chris

Are You Really Living Life?

January 15, 2015
“How much sick leave do I have?  Can I call in sick? I need a vacation day.  What is life really about?  This can’t be my life’s purpose. ”  These are thoughts that we have had and KNOW that many others feel the same.  It can be depressing, disabling and crippling.
We have suggestions to help you with these thoughts.  First off . . .
Fear is the biggest emotion that holds us back.
We like listening to personal development audios – YouTube is great for that!  Just search “personal or self development.” Easy!  Or you can search for guided meditations to help focus your thought processes.
We have also read books on positive thinking and the law of attraction help us immensely!  “The Secret” was most influential to me but I have a number of books I have read and re-read.  Such as “The Power of Positive Thinking”, “Think and Grow Rich”, “How to Win Friends and Influence People”, “Ask and It Is Given” . . . the list goes on and on.
One of the best ways to keep the negative thoughts at bay is to surround yourself with like-minded people.  If you are always talking to “Eeyore” (Sorry, I love Eeyore but he’s a great example) or to someone that thrives on drama . . . that can only leak into your life.  Even if you are the one being the sunshine or light for that person.  They may be sucking your positive energy . . . have you heard of energy vampires?  So, find people to spend time with that can find the silver lining or whose cup is half full or can find humor in a situation gone wrong.  It’s much better for your overall mental and emotional health.
Chris and I are constantly working on changing our mindset because we know it is critical in changing our lives.  We uplift each other, remind ourselves to “find the positives” when we catch ourselves judging or complaining, we surround ourselves with like-minded people, we LIMIT our time with those that “bring us down.”  We find things to do that bring us JOY and practice GRATITUDE for everything we have and experience.
I’m assuming if you have found our blog then you realize there are possibilities to a different way of life.
We even started a FB Group – Finding Synchronicity to inspire and motivate people.  www.facebook.com/FindingSynchronicity
We can help you escape the kind of life where days are just passing by. Let us help guide you into a new journey in life . . .

10 Inspirational Quotes to Keep You On Track

January 14, 2015

For those days when you have lost focus or just feel like . . . blah . . . do I sound crazy or do you know what I’m talking about?
When I have those days, it helps to read some inspirational quotes to keep me motivated and headed in the right direction. Here are some of my favorites:
  1. "Dream big and dare to fail."
    Norman Vaughan
I like to dream big and I have finally realized that I can compartmentalize my dreams or I can start living them. If I don’t try, I will never know and I will live a good but “mediocre” life. That’s just not ok with me anymore. I am going to dream, dream, dream!!!
  2. "The best dreams happen when you’re awake."
    Cherie Gilderbloom
Have any of your dreams or desires come true? This feeling is unlike any other. Living your dreams and helping others do the same . . . think about it. It’s definitely worth the journey.
  3. "The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step."
    Lao Tzu
So, I will face my fears and take a step. It might be a small step but I will take it. How about you?
  4. "Do what you can, where you are, with what you have."
    Teddy Roosevelt
Start somewhere . . . don’t wait for the “right” time. That is just an excuse.
  5. "Even if you fall on your face, you’re still moving forward."
    Victor Kiam
Plain and simple you will most likely fail along the way. The trick is falling forward, getting back up and keeping your destination in sight.
  6. "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover. –"
    Mark Twain
As I get older, I see the truth in these words. If there is any part of you that hesitated before you said, “No” to something . . . then there is a part of you that wants to say, “Yes”. Regret is much harder to overcome than being in the moment.
  7. "Believe you can and you’re halfway there."
    Theodore Roosevelt
There’s nothing like the power of belief. Believe, take action – make it happen!
  8. "It’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years."
    Abraham Lincoln
How will you feel when it’s time for your story to end? Will it be a best seller?
  9. "Change your thoughts and you change your world."
    Norman Vincent Peale
So take a stand and live your life with your approval. Live the life you’ve always dreamed.
  10. "If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten."
    Tony Robbins
Or stay where you are, do what you’ve always done and live an “average” life. It’s your choice
Chris & Nicole Tindell,

You’ve Got to See This Video If You Need to Smile

January 15, 2015

Sharing my pride and joy because this video makes my heart happy and I know it will make you smile too! These moments are priceless and being a stay-at-home mom, I’ve been lucky enough to share quite a few of them . . . however, I was not lucky enough to get most of them on video.

Time to go “Ny-Ny” . . . No!

  1. Time goes too quickly and I was able to catch my middle “clown” on video for this hilarious moment. Time for a nap but he says “no” in the cutest way ever!
You may think it’s no big deal that I caught this on video but it’s all relative to time and technology. The little guy in this video is about to turn 13 . . . so that means I had to have the video camera out, ready and charged to be prepared for this taping session. It wasn’t like today’s technology where you just need to have your smart phone on you.
Let me know what you think . . . those dimples got me every time! And he was so snuggly and squishy I could hardly stand it! LOL

He’s got his own news to tell

  1. Remember to listen . . . even when they’re little they have a lot to say!
I hope you found a smile through these videos of my kids.  Leave me comments below and let me know what you think.

3 Hacks That Will Have You Creating Awesome Pictures Like A Professional

January 29, 2015

Do you want to create your own picture posts or ads? Or you just can’t find something that fits your needs? Or are you worried about copyrights?
Here are 3 apps that will have you designing pictures like a professional!

PicMonkey

PicMonkey is my favorite app so far. I used it to create the featured image for this blog post which I used for an ad. I now have an ad that features an actual picture of me with the wording I chose.
PicMonkey offers photo editing, touch up, collage, design and photo effects. There are plenty of free options but, included, you will also see options that are only available if you “upgrade”.
I have created quite a few pictures using only the free options. I have also included an example of a picture quote that I created using a picture of my son and one of my favorite quotes.

Pixlr

This app is more advanced and most like Photoshop. I like it because I can make my pictures the exact dimensions I need.
Pixlr offers many tools, filters and adjustments. It is ready to use on your desktop without having to register.
For this example, I “stretched” this infinity symbol to be flatter and longer so I could use it in our logo.

Canva

Lastly, I would like to share Canva. Canva offers specific design templates such as Instagram/Facebook/Twitter images, Facebook cover, business cards, presentations and many more. This is also a free app and includes many free options but it also offers lots of pictures/fonts/designs for $1/each.

Do you have any other apps that you use?  Please share them and your suggestions in the comments below.

3 Motivational Tools To Be Successful In Life

January 3, 2015

When your dreams are defined, your mind happy and your outlook positive, magical things can happen. However, you must take action.
  1. Believe in Your Dreams

Believe in what you want . . . What are your dreams? Have you written them down or written them off? You don’t have to be bound by society. We have been taught that dreams are only dreams. Break free from these debilitating thoughts and take your first step in realizing your dreams can come true.
  2. Daily Affirmations

Use of daily affirmations inspires you to be happy with a positive mindset. Use them multiple times daily. You can post them where you can see them multiple times a day, subscribe to email lists that will send them to you, or you can think of your own and let the power of your mind provide you with happiness. It’s so easy. Think about all the things you have to be grateful for or anything that can put a smile on your face.
  3. Do More Than What is Required and Take Action

Do what others won’t . . . “Success leaves clues” – set a higher standard for yourself. Leaders and successful people do things in their lives that most people won’t even attempt. So face your fears, get out of your comfort zone and always move forward – even if it is falling forward.
We are fortunate enough to have combined these tools to Find Synchronicity and make our personal lives more fulfilled. . . to change our lives and help as many people as we can do the same.

4 Lessons I Have Learned About Parenting

January 4, 2015

As a stay-at-home mom for most of the 15 years I’ve been raising my three boys, I’ve learned a few things.
I’ve learned that I didn’t know ANYTHING about kids or parenting until I had my own spawn to deal with.
I’ve learned that anything I learned with my first born did nothing to prepare me for the second and anything I learned from raising the first two, taught me nothing to prepare me for having THREE !
I would like to share with you some of the lessons I’ve learned along the way. However, you can read this, talk to people, babysit, or be around babies and children all you want to prepare for parenthood, but it is a total game-changer when you have your very own little person that you created . . . that you are emotionally attached to . . . that you would do anything for. There is no connection or feeling like that of having a child.

  1. Teach your children love and compassion and to deal with life and social situations the same way.
Teach them to be proud of themselves in whatever they are doing. Any joy they find, as simple as it may be, is HUGE to them. Teach them to do the same for others . . . again love and compassion.
Celebrate who they are . . . especially if they are “different” from the “norm.” Don’t confine and restrict them to your beliefs. Let them express themselves and find their true personality.
  2. Lighten up – pick and choose your battles. Most children just want to have fun. Yes, they may unintentionally do things that cause chaos in our day, but how bad is it really?
Yes, they might come in after going to the park to take their shoes off and dump sand all over your floor. What would your reaction be? What if you remind them with love and compassion that they should take their shoes off outside when they come home? Then HELP them clean up the mess. How would that make both of you feel.
If you are stressed, they can become stressed. That negative energy can spread like wildfire. It’s ok to give yourself permission to take your own time out. It’s better than losing your cool and taking out your frustrations on your little ones.
  3. Make sure your kids know the rules/guidelines/consequences and be consistent with keeping them in place. I read somewhere that it takes 100 times to correct an unwanted behavior. So, if you notice your child doing something consistently then, most likely, YOU have not been consistent with your consequences for that behavior.
This is probably the hardest one for me. It’s so easy to make up excuses and let them get away with something . . . just let me remind you . . . 100 TIMES to correct that behavior. Ugh!
  4. Realize that you are not perfect – nobody is, and that’s ok. Life is an ongoing lesson. You are going to make mistakes and you should accept that. How you handle them is a different story. We teach our children that they should apologize for something they have done wrong. Do you follow the same advice? Apologies, again done with love and compassion, go a long way.
It’s ok to admit to your mistakes (of course as long as the discussion is age-appropriate). Your older children will end up having more respect for you and will realize that challenges can be met and worked out. If all you expose them to are the “good or happy” parts of life, they won’t be equipped to face these realities in their future.
  5. Enjoy your time with them. Each stage is so different and goes by more quickly than the last. Life is too short.
